The Lake House Experience
Lake House has an enviable record of national and international awards for service, ambience, cuisine and cellar. Here guests can experience some of Australia's best regional food and wine while staying in the wonderful rooms and suites, enjoying full resort and conference facilities. The enviable position on the shores of Lake Daylesford provides a perfect opportunity for many activities including foreshore and water sports. Mix business with pleasure and sample the world famous springs, hydrotherapy and treatments of Victoria's Spa region. Indulge yourself with the award winning cuisine and have a local winemaker guide you through a wine tasting in their cellar room. Enjoy a fly fishing lesson and have chefs barbecue your catch for dinner. There are comfortable guest lounges, open fires in winter, and extensive outdoor terraces for relaxing or alfresco dining.

Dining
Savour the superb cuisine in the sunlit dining room of Victoria's Best Restaurant - or perhaps a private dinner in the Cellar Room. The award-winning Dining Room sunlit by day, boasts magnificent views through its large expanse of windows. The restaurant glows with the magic and romance of candlelight, while a log fire provides a warm welcome in Winter. In Summer, tables are set outdoors overlooking the water under large shady umbrellas, or in the open balmy evening air. Enjoy contemporary Australian cuisine which pays homage to the best available seasonal produce and the efforts of local regional suppliers. A team of talented, dedicated young chefs under the direction of Executive chef Alla Wolf Tasker work from the ground up producing virtually everything on the premises. An award-winning cellar specialises in outstanding regional wines but is equally at home with French classics.

Activities
Have a hit of tennis followed by a massage and some soaking in the spa/sauna room. A myriad of bushwalking tracks meander from the property.
