Each room features a silk-draped four-poster bed or New York-style loft, ornate Biedermeier furnishings, gilded mirrors, plush fabrics, rich colour schemes and all guestrooms have baths. In addition to the extra comforts you would expect to find in a luxury hotel room, CD players are also available on request.

Dining
Enjoy a relaxing drink in the elegant Library adjacent to the lobby which offers wing-back chairs and the warmth of an open fire in winter. The glass-enclosed Terrace above Knox Street offers hot menu items plus a European-style buffet breakfast from 7am to 10am weekdays and 7am to 11am on weekends, or an a la carte menu for lunch and dinner. Tea, coffee and light snacks are served throughout the day. In-room dining is available between 11am and 1am.

Sydney CBD is 10 minutes by car, water taxi or ferry from Double Bay. International/domestic airports are 10 km away in the suburb of Mascot, allow 30 minutes for the journey in peak times or 20 minutes outside peak times (approximately $30 by taxi or $80 by limousine). Airport shuttle, buses, trains and ferries available from Double Bay.
