This is a boutique style hotel with distinctive European flavours which belies its location in the heart of the central business district of Sydney. The Sir Stamford at Circular Quay is an internationally renowned property with award winning restaurant, bar and conferencing facilities, offering a truly personal service that creates the ambience of a luxurious private club. It is only a moment's stroll to the world's most beautiful harbour, the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Opera House and many other Sydney landmarks.

Each room offers many unique features and its own charm. They offer 105 comfortable and spacious Guest Rooms, including 14 suites and The Stamford Suite. The majority of the guestrooms and suites have French doors onto Juliet Balconies, which overlook the Harbour, Circular Quay or the Royal Botanic Gardens. The Sir Stamford (Suite) Club offers further privileges. Accessible only by key, the Club is a private floor with special amenities and the services of a Sir Stamford Concierge. Complimentary food and beverages are served throughout the day. Non-smoking floors are available.

Dining
All dining areas are elegantly appointed yet have comfortable ambience. The Dining Room offers fine wines and superb cuisine and was recently awarded the "Best Restaurant in New South Wales" by the Australian Hotels Association. The Bar is a Sydney institution in its own right and features speciality cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and delectable buffet luncheons.

Activities
The indoor heated Roman-themed pool has reclining chairs in a conservatory enclosure, plus spa and sauna offering a pleasant environment for relaxation. Use of the nearby fitness center is available at a concession for guests.

To meet your special requirements the hotel offers first rate catering facilities, a full service florist, audiovisual equipment and a business centre. Four rooms are available. The Elizabeth room, prized for its natural light, for up to 110 guests, banquet style, the Prince Albert room, with choice of entrances, for up to 100 guests theatre style and the elegant Lachlan room for up to 25 guests, boardroom style. The delightfully intimate dining room for 12 guests and the pool deck, perfect for alfresco cocktail functions for up to 60 guests.


Getting There
Located 13km from Sydney Airport, approximately 25 minutes by taxi or shuttle coach. The hotel is adjacent to the Botanical Gardens on Sydney Harbour and opposite the Opera House, just a 5 minute walk to The Rocks district. Limousine transfers can be arranged, alternatively an airport bus departs regularly from the domestic and international terminals, travelling directly to the Hotel.

Golf
Golf can be arranged at several of Sydney's finest public and private courses. Moore Park is the closest Championship Golf Course to Sydney's CBD and is recognised as one of the best public golf courses in Australia. The driving range complex houses a three tiered, 60 bay undercover driving range, open daily from daybreak until 10PM and bookings are not necessary.

Children
The hotel provides baby sitting and child minding services. There is no charge for children 12 years and under sharing a room with adults and using existing bedding.
