Spicers Peak Lodge offers stylish, intimate accommodation reminiscent of mountain lodges in New Zealand and Africa with high ceilings, fireplaces, rich timber fittings and stylish decor - a secluded boutique retreat away from the pressures of modern life and up to 10 degrees cooler than the coast.

The "room fairies" visit frequently but are rarely seen, restocking and pampering with tasty treats, turn-downs and swiss chocolates.

Dining
Here you experience epicurian magic providing for every wish and dietary requirement. The innovative menus are prepared by executive chef Ben Lanyon assisted by David (ex Peppers Palm Bay) highlight fresh produce grown in the rich fertile soil of the region, local game (this is deer country), choicest Queensland meats & seafoods matched with a superb wine list. A supplementary cellar range and fine cigars are available at reasonable prices. Breakfast is continental or a la carte to suit, wholesome and nutritious with freshly squeezed juices and breads hot from the oven... Lunch is light and leisurely al fresco style, superb fare brilliantly presented but can be taken at a distant slab picnic table overlooking the plateau in complete isolation - except for the bellbirds and wallaroos! Gourmet picnic hampers are also available for the serious hikers! The evening 7 course degustation experience changes daily, served in the formal dining room complete with stone fireplace. An open kitchen shows all the action as all your senses are stimulated. Its all there - great food and wine, architecture, decor, gentle music and aromas, all on a private and exclusive scale.
