This luxurious and exclusive mountain lodge is splendidly located just over an hour's drive west from Brisbane and the Gold Coast - a luxurious gastronomic mountain lodge atop World Heritage listed Main Range National Park. As an exclusive adult retreat it is simply stunning, situated 3700' above sea level with expansive views of the surrounding countryside for cozy winter getaways or summer escapes.

Guest accommodation is located in wings of the lodge. Spa Suites (3) and Lodge Suites (5) are at ground level with private decks and stone fireplaces while Lodge Suites (2) are on the upper level commanding outstanding views over the valley. There is one disabled suite along with easy access to all facilities and the Master Spa Suite can accommodate an extra person. All are expansive with uninterrupted views, luxury ensuites, are magnificently furnished, spacious and elegant with amenities to suit the most fastidious of visitors including data ports. The well-stocked mini bar is complimentary and fine teas and coffees are supplied. Beds are king-size, convertable to singles if required, with fine linens, luxury robes, towelling as you would expect. The "room fairies" visit frequently but are rarely seen, restocking and pampering with tasty treats, turn-downs and swiss chocolates.

Dining
Here you experience epicurian magic providing for every wish and dietary requirement. The innovative menus are prepared by executive chef Ben Lanyon assisted by David (ex Peppers Palm Bay) highlight fresh produce grown in the rich fertile soil of the region, local game (this is deer country), choicest Queensland meats & seafoods matched with a superb wine list. A supplementary cellar range and fine cigars are available at reasonable prices.
Breakfast is continental or a la carte to suit, wholesome and nutritious with freshly squeezed juices and breads hot from the oven... Lunch is light and leisurely al fresco style, superb fare brilliantly presented but can be taken at a distant slab picnic table overlooking the plateau in complete isolation - except for the bellbirds and wallaroos! Gourmet picnic hampers are also available for the serious hikers!
The evening 7 course degustation experience changes daily, served in the formal dining room complete with stone fireplace. An open kitchen shows all the action as all your senses are stimulated. Its all there - great food and wine, architecture, decor, gentle music and aromas, all on a private and exclusive scale.

Activities
The Lodge offers year-round pleasures, regardless of season and climate. Without venturing outside, there is much to experience and enjoy from the well-stocked book/CD/DVD library, excellent (though 3/4 size) billiard table, expansive lounge and bar area complete with baby grand piano, stone fireplace and even wireless Internet! The open bar is well stocked with local and overseas favourites, espresso coffee, fresh snacks & bakehouse offerings with attentive help never far away. Their heated infinity pool and spa is simply sensational, hard to leave with spectacular views by day and star shows or mist by night, all just metres from your room! An ampitheatre-style tennis court (equipped with floodlights, bar area and racquets of course) is nearby, along with bocce, mountain bikes and scenic walking tracks to provide some of the outdoor exercise options.

Peppers Spicers Peak Lodge provides a dedicated conference room (12 person - 35m2) and a boardroom (12 person - 25m2) with natural lighting, blackout curtains and adjacent break-out areas with a total capacity up to 12 delegates & 40 day guests.
Comprehensive support can provide for every aspect of your function, at a level of your own choosing but meeting your every expectation. Staff can assist with arranging innovating team building programmes.
This private and exclusive location is ideally suited for executive meetings, weddings and incentive getaways, with the Lodge assisting with transportation for day guests if required.

Getting There
The Lodge is a 90 mins drive south-west from Brisbane or the Gold Coast via the Cunningham Highway. The turnoff to South Branch road is 6km west of Cunningham's Gap and here the Lodge maintains a staffed cabin and undercover parking for guests who require a 4WD transfer up the mountain.
The 12km graded road is well maintained and a scenic drive through native bushland, steep in places but suited to all vehicles with 4WD access in wet weather and 4WD coaches for large groups.
A grassed heli-pad area is located on the plateau which is cleared for several hundred metres in all directions. Helicopter scenic transfers take approximately 30 mins from Brisbane or the Gold Coast at a one-way cost of $1850 for 5 passengers and their baggage.

Spicers Peak Lodge is an adult-only retreat and does not provide child minding & baby-sitting services except when booked on a "sole-use" basis (minimum 8 couples).
