Guest accommodation is housed in freestanding, elegantly appointed bungalows, bures and cabins, all in an absolute beachfront location offering uninterrupted views across the majestic Whitsundays. Cabins are simply a smaller version of the Bures. Bures have a lounge area and more space for a family. Both types contain limited cooking facilities. They are designed to catch the cooling tropical breezes with a high pitched roof and ceiling fans for maximum comfort. Balcony hammocks and outdoor settings provide the perfect location for private dining experiences and watching brilliant sunsets. There are no televisions or telephones in any of the guestrooms and all rooms are non-smoking with smoking permitted only on the balcony.

The ever-changing menu offers contemporary Australian dishes and features the freshest ingredients and some of the best cuisine you'll find in the Whitsundays. A continental style breakfast basket is provided to start the day at your leisure, followed by an impressive la carte lunch menu or gourmet picnic hamper. Dinner is served on the terrace of the signature restaurant 'La Riviera' or the resort can arrange an intimate candlelit dinner on your private balcony.

Peppers Palm Bay is able to cater for small groups and be booked on a sole basis for 42 guests in 21 rooms. Conferences are welcome at the resort on an exclusive use basis only. The resort is able to accommodate meetings in the open-air quiet meeting room, located just 10 metres from the beach and with views to the ocean.

Getting There
Daily services operate from mainland Australian cities to airports at both Hamilton Island and Proserpine on the mainland. The launch transfer from Hamilton Island to Palm Bay takes 25 mins. From Proserpine, a 30 mins coach or limousine trip connects with regular Shute Harbour launch transfers to the island taking 15 mins. Scenic seaplane or heli transfers directly from the airports to the resort can also be arranged.

Children
The retreat provides baby sitting & child minding services. There is no charge for children 12 years and under sharing a room with adults and using existing bedding.
