The Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove Resort Experience
Set in the heart of Sanctuary Cove, Australia's most exclusive 1000 acre fully integrated resort is surrounded by superior sporting and recreational facilities. The resort consists of The Great House, with its colonial architecture and rustic furnishings, five secluded low-rise accommodation courts. Superb sporting and recreation facilities include two international golf courses, state of the art recreation club, world class shopping village and restaurants, and a 330 berth marina. Sanctuary Cove is the perfect place to escape to, offering a world of comfort, style, luxury and diversion.

Accommodation - 223 rooms, 24 suites, Check in - 2 PM, Check out - 11 AM
Comprises five low-rise clusters made up of 114 Hyatt Guestrooms, 49 Lagoon View rooms, 60 Regency Club® rooms, 16 Queenslander Suites, six Homestead Suites, one Federation Suite and one Manor Suite. Modern comforts and a sense of luxury have been incorporated into the traditional design. All are spacious with a private balcony and a choice of views over the marina, the serenity of the golf course or the sandy beach lagoon. Two modified disabled rooms are available. Non-smoking rooms are available.

Dining
Whether it is a buffet breakfast on the terrace, brunch beside the pool, formal afternoon high tea, à la carte dining, or early evening cocktails, you can enjoy superb cuisine, beautiful surroundings and discreet, attentive service. Located on the lower level of The Great House overlooking the gardens and adjacent to The Cove Café, The Fireplace Restaurant offers traditional provincial and classical cuisine with the finest of grilled meats and seafood prepared in a unique wood-fired oven. Chefs are on show interacting with diners whilst meticulously preparing the freshest local produce.

Activities
The Rec Club featuring state of the art gymnasium, spa, sauna, 9 floodlit tennis courts, 25 metre lap pool, lawn bowls, fishing, sailing, boating. Marine Village offers more than 80 specialty stores, cafes, restaurants, brewery, cinema, and cruises operating daily. The tour desk can assist with local tours, cruises, joyflights and transport services. It is the closest international hotel to the major theme parks and just 15 minutes from Surfers Paradise.

Corporate Challenge, corporate activities program and corporate golf group co-ordinators provide packages for The Palms and The Pines.


Getting There
Located 65km (50 mins) south of Brisbane International Airport and 40km (35 mins) north of Coolangatta Airport, with transfers by taxi, shuttle coach or scenic heli flight. From Brisbane Airport, turn left onto the Gateway Arterial Road and pass through the toll to the Gold Coast. Follow the Pacific Highway for approx. 40 kilometres then turn left at the Oxenford exit. Follow the signs to Sanctuary Cove. From Coolangatta Airport, follow the Pacific Highway northbound, turn left at the Oxenford/Mt Tamborine exit and follow the signs to Sanctuary Cove.

Spa
The Rec Club provides pampering services including massage, beauty therapy, saunas, spas, a solarium, physiotherapy, podiatry, relaxing classes such as yoga and meditation. It is accessible to the disabled. The aerobics studio features a specially sprung floor to minimise impact and risk of injury. Fitness testing, individual exercise programming, personal training, nutritional and weight-loss consultants are available.

Golf
Two championship golf courses & golf academy. The resort-style Palms course, designed by Fred Bolton, is par 71, rating 69, with a course length of 5,663 metres. Its 18 holes weave through century-old cabbage palms, numerous water hazards and kangaroos lazing in the sun. This world-class golf course is home to resident touring professional, Ian Baker-Finch. The championship Pines course was designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer and is par 72, rating 76, with a course length of 6,694 metres. The Australian Golf Union rates this the toughest in the country and is private to Country Club members and Hyatt guests, restricted to handicap players on Saturdays. The driving range is open on selected evenings.

Children
The resort has baby sitting services and a creche at Rec Club with children's tennis, swimming & sports facilities, a play area, free weekend entertainment at Marine Village. Fully supervised and fun-filled activities for children aged 4 to 12 years. A myriad of activities, from snorkelling and kite flying through to creative pastimes such as popcorn and paper-making, keeps the kids amused for hours while parents are free to enjoy the resort's many facilities.
