| The Peppers Hermitage Experience |
The Hermitage of Marananga is one of the Barossa Valley’s original hosted Bed & Breakfast establishments. Set on a hill surrounded by vineyards it has expansive 360 degree views across to the Barossa Ranges and surrounding area. This idyllic location provides a tranquil atmosphere reflected in the ‘Hermitage’ name. An hour's drive from Adelaide, Peppers Hermitage accommodates only 23 guests, offering luxury spa suites and an outdoor heated pool and spa. The recognised fine dining at Peppers Hermitage Restaurant is supported by an extensive local wine list.

Three buildings create a U-shape which forms a sheltered central courtyard into which guests arrive. The 10 luxury suites along with a three-person apartment are arranged to take advantage of the fabulous vineyard views through French doors on one side. The suites lead onto the peaceful space of the courtyard on the other side. All of the large, homely suites offer comfortable, fully equipped accomodation - whether it be for business or pleasure. They combine the facilities usually only available at first class international hotels with the aura and personal attention of a restful guesthouse. Four of the suites are more luxuriously appointed with double spa baths, King beds, wood stove fires, DVD players and other small luxuries.

Dining
Tariffs include a full breakfast served in the dining room where resident owners wait on their guests. Fine dining is also offered most nights and has proved a very popular drawcard for visitors staying at The Hermitage. Talented chef Yin Xu Knight has created an enticing menu by combining Asian and Mediterranean influences with fresh local and regional produce. Accompanying the menu is an extensive list of local wines, with many vintages no longer available at cellar doors. Royal Doulton Crockery, Oneida silver plated cutlery, Riedel glassware, candle lamps and crisp white cloths add to the dining experience.

Activities
The hotel provides an outdoor heated pool and heated spa for guests. Peppers Hermitage Barossa Valley is the ideal base for your stay in the Barossa.
