The Freycinet Lodge Experience
Tasmania's premier environmental resort is set in a secluded and superb National Park location overlooking sandy white beaches and the crystal clear blue water of Great Oyster Bay, a playground for dolphins and whales. Freycinet Lodge provides natural timber cabins, tastefully appointed in secluded bushland settings - an Eco-award winning location providing close encounters with the many native animals, birds and marine life.

All cabins are tastefully furnished and situated in secluded bushland settings. Cabins are 1 & 2 bedroom, some having spas, and deluxe appointments are available.

The Bay Restaurant overlooks Great Oyster Bay and provides a tempting evening menu of prime Tasmanian sea and farm produce. An extensive wine list features the best of Tasmanian boutique wines. Richardson's Bistro provides a breakfast and lunch menu. Hazards Bar and Lounge is the venue for evening wine tastings and boutique beer samplings by their open wood fire. Gourmet picnic baskets are available.

Getting There
Situated 2 hours drive north from Hobart along the scenic Tasman Highway (A3). About 20-30 minutes past Swansea turn right onto Coles Bay Road (C302). Travel through Coles Bay township to reach the entrance to Freycinet National Park. The entrance fee is $10.00 per car for a day pass. Once inside the national park, Freycinet Lodge is a further 2 km on the right hand side of the road. Two private airstrips nearby are available for light aircraft landings. There is also a helipad adjacent to the Lodge grounds.

The Lodge provides a children's playground and child minding, with a 'Kids Club' at Christmas and during January.

Guests staying a minimum 2 nights will receive a complimentary bottle of Australian sparkling wine.
