The private, well appointed, cosy self-contained cabins offer natural bush and mountain views, and are environmentally friendly without compromising comfort. Each room has a double sliding door opening onto a small private balcony for viewing wildlife and enjoying the fresh mountain air. They are located on the ground floor level in 2 adjoining guest accommodation wings. Choose from Standard Twin rooms with 2 doubles, King Spa rooms with a King bed and spa in the bathroom. Handicap rooms are also available. Deluxe Split Level Suites provide a sunken lounge, King bed and spa bath.

Come and enjoy anything from a hearty breakfast to a delicious á la carte meal in Quoll’s Casual Dining Restaurant, open 7 days a week. Browse through their sunken wine cellar with a variety of excellent Tasmanian, Australian and International wines and choose a wine to complement your superb meal in their signature restaurant The Grey Gum, open 5 days a week. Activities
Bushwalking offers a variety of walks ranging from 10 minute to full day walks. There are comprehensive tours that cater for everyone’s needs. Night Spotlight Tours from the comfort of a warm vehicle allow you to see the nocturnal animals in their natural habitat, including Wombats, Possums, Wallabies, Quolls and Tasmanian Devils. The hotel offers a Fly Fishing Tour and comprehensive tutorial to educate the complete novice in the skills of flyfishing at the surrounding lakes. The Dove Lake canoe tour provides access to places that cannot be reached on foot, such as the face of Suicide Rock and the Honeymoon Islands. The tour stops at a lake side beach where you can stretch your legs on a short stroll in the Ballroom Rainforest. The Tullah Horseback and Boat Tours can take you on a 1 hour to full day tour through the incredible scenery of Cradle Mountain and the surrounding area. Scenic flights allow you to see Tasmania’s highest mountain, deepest gorge and deepest lake all in one flight.

The Cradle Mountain Conference Centre can cater for 10 to 140 guests and is located opposite the hotel, adjacent to the wilderness gallery. There are three purpose-built, pillar-free function rooms all with access to an outside deck area offering magnificent views of the wilderness. The local area abounds with fascinating things to see and do. Guided walks into the National Park, canoe trips and fly fishing tours can all be arranged through the hotel tour desk and are ideal for corporate team–building exercises. On hand is state of the art conferencing equipment at very competitive prices including Whiteboards (electronic & standard), Flipcharts, Overhead projector, Screens, Lectern, PA system, Audio-CD-tape players, Video, TV monitor, Data projector. Any further audio-visual requirements can be arranged.

Getting There
Located 147km west of Launceston Airport, approximately 2 hrs by self-drive or coach. The hotel is situated on the northern edge of Cradle Mountain and accessed via the Meander Valley Highway. It is just 2km from the Lake St. Clair National Park entrance and 326km (4 hrs) from Hobart to the south-east.
